Chapter 3.4: Standing out
Standing out in HTML is the same as standing out in a crowd. You make a certain area of text just puff out from the rest and seem completely unique and different. This is used by advertisers to kind of highlight areas that they think should be important. Like saying something is free or limited time only. You can do this with the Bold tag yes, but when its multiple words its better to use the tag. The tag can be used like I said before in advertisements to make certain text POP OUT! I'll show you.

But if you order RIGHT NOW You will get 20,000 Cookies FOR FREE

Not quite sure anyone would give out that many cookies... Point is that makes this:
But if you order RIGHT NOW You will get 20,000 Cookies FOR FREE
Also a lot of advertisers (like in this case) make the popped out words capitalized. Anyways we can also make things emphasized or the tag. The tag is used for changing the subject of the sentence. Such as:

I think pizza is better

I think pizza is better

I think pizza is better

I think pizza is better

I think pizza is better

Will make:
I think pizza is better
I think pizza is better
I think pizza is better
Now moving on to Quotations. You should know what a Quote is. There are two different kinds of quotes in HTML. First off there is the Blockquote. The blockquote is used for quotes that take up an entire paragraph. and of course its tag is
. Let me show you:

The world is a strange place, made up of many different things and animals, and yet we still like to think that we know it all, and that we know what we are. But we do not, we can not.

Will then make:
The world is a strange place, made up of many different things and animals, and yet we still like to think that we know it all, and that we know what we are. But we do not, we can not.
Of course, as you can see this indents the page. This is why some people try to use Blockquote to indent their paragraphs. This however is a bad idea and you should indent paragraphs through CSS, which we will get to later. Anyways the second type of quote is just the normal Quote tag. This tag is used for shorter, less worded quotes. The tag however is not supported in Internet Explorer, so many people do not use it. This is its effect tho:

A Quote by me: The world will change every day, change with it or get lost in it. by Me

This is what I decided to come up with off the top of my head. Anyways this is what it makes:
A Quote by me: The world will change every day, change with it or get lost in it.
by Me
It is better than using the "" keys. But again, many people choose not to use this because it is not supported by Internet Explorer.
