Chapter 5.1: Linking emails
Using the Anchor tag and the Hyper Reference tag, we can create links to Web Pages, References, and even to Email Addresses! Only people with Email Softwares will be able to use these type of links correctly. Every one else, who checks their email through a web browser will not be effected when clicking one of these links.
So let us begin, first make a paragraph in which you can put the link inside.
<p>My email is [email protected] Send me a message! </p>
And now let's use those <a> tags (Anchor Tags) we talked about earlier, use them between the spot you are linking.
<p>My email is <a>[email protected]</a>Send me a message! </p>
Good, now go ahead and add the Hyper Reference attribute or ( href ) to the Anchor Element. (Remember when adding an attribute it formats like this <element attribute="value"></element>.
<p>My email is <a href="">[email protected]</a> Send me a message!</p>
Alright, now we can go ahead and tell it that the href is to mail to the email your are specifying. Like this mailto:[email protected]
Your code should now look like this:
<p>My email is <a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a> Send me a message!</p>
Which will make:

Anyone with a Mailing software, after clicking that link should autoatically have a new message filled out. All of us who use web browsers and go straight to the website, nothing will happen. :D
